I create abstract paintings using colour field and mixed media techniques, inspired by the synaesthetic response I experience when I listen to music - I see colour around me in waves that change according to the music that is played.
Over the past few years I have collaborated with many musicians and audio designers, creating a conversation between visual and audio.
I have curated many exhibitions and community projects over the years. #WE4REHERE at Aldershot's West End Centre in Nov 2019 saw 2 stages of music, live art, exhibitions, film screenings and an entire AV experience. I organised this with the charity I founded, Forward 4 Wiz Trust to showcase the wealth of creative talent in Rushmoor, my local borough identified as one of the areas with least arts engagement in the UK.
I also love to travel and climb mountains, my sketchbook firmly in my pocket. In spring 2019 I went to Nepal for a month to trek the Annapurnas, recording my journey for my supporters back home as the trip was crowdfunded by those that collect and support my art career. I am so grateful for such an incredible experience.
